Through the generosity of local individuals, organizations, and businesses, Golden Eagle Education Foundation’s Scholarship program provides college funding for Fountain Hills High School graduating seniors. Recognition of past achievements, planned future accomplishments, and the alleviation of financial barriers are some of the criteria for awarding scholarships.
Past recipients have received scholarships for leadership, academics, civic dedication, practical arts experience, athletic achievement, and specific degree plans including aviation, education, engineering, sciences, medical fields, and more.
Any Fountain Hills High School or Fountain Hills homeschool senior eligible for graduation is welcome to apply for a scholarship.
The online Scholarship Application is available in February each year and closes in March.
Before entering the Scholarship Application, be ready to:
Provide your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) amount from your FAFSA.
Provide answers to essay questions (up to 8 essays, depending on which scholarships you apply for).
Upload your high school transcript (obtain a copy from your counselor before applying).
Upload your current personal resume.
Provide the name and email addresses of up to 5 individuals who will provide a recommendation for you.
For more information on the Scholarship Application process,
access the slide deck.
Applications are reviewed by the GEEF scholarship selection committee.
Scholarships are awarded at Senior Recognition Night in May.
Businesses, organizations, or individual philanthropists who wish to sponsor a scholarship can begin the process by completing and submitting a Scholarships Donation Contract Worksheet.
Once submitted, the Scholarship Chairperson will contact you to discuss details of your scholarship to best showcase the intention and purpose of your donation.
Thank you so much for giving students an opportunity to easily apply for scholarships.
It's so nice to have the Golden Eagle Education Foundation to help us. I'm so grateful this foundation exists.

Because of your generosity my family and I can worry a little bit less about how to support my dreams, and for that we are so appreciative!
